We are seeking skilled and dedicated team members to join our team in Queensland.

The Role

  • Monitor cattle across grazing paddocks and report any signs of illness, injury or abnormal behaviour to supervisors
  • Supply cattle with feed and water and regularly check feeding and watering systems to ensure livestock requirements are met
  • Assist with routine livestock husbandry activities, including drafting, weighing, ear tagging, vaccinating and administering basic animal treatments
  • Move cattle safely between paddocks, yards, loading ramps and handling facilities to support grazing rotation and production activities
  • Assist with loading and unloading cattle for transport while following animal welfare and workplace safety procedures
  • Inspect, clean and maintain cattle yards, fences, gates, water troughs and other farm infrastructure, carrying out minor maintenance where required
  • Operate basic farm vehicles, machinery and equipment used in day-to-day cattle station operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with workplace health and safety, animal welfare and biosecurity requirements

Who We Are Looking For

  • AQF Certificate I or completion of secondary education; relevant livestock or cattle station experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cattle handling and animal welfare practices
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
