What you'll be doing

As the Weighbridge Operator, you’ll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the feedlot. Reporting to the Administration Manager, this position combines weighbridge operations with administrative and front-of-house support. This role suits someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage weighbridge operations - including cattle and commodity movements and accurate data entry
• Direct truck drivers and coordinate deliveries on site
• Conduct grain sampling and basic quality testing
• Answer incoming calls, greet visitors and manage general enquiries
• Organise incoming and outgoing mail and parcel deliveries
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining filing systems, contact lists and assisting with new employee onboarding

What you'll bring

• A friendly, approachable and professional communicator
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Reliable, diligent and able to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working in a feedlot or operational environment
• You are available for a 6:30am start
