Our operations span Northern Queensland cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We produce a full range of grain and grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries worldwide.

Your Role:

As a Trade Assistant you will support the maintenance and reliability of light and heavy vehicles, mill plant, and other fixed and mobile equipment across the site. This is a practical, hands-on role where your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure equipment is operating efficiently and downtime is minimised.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing pre-start checks and greasing of light and heavy vehicles, mill plant and other equipment
  • Assisting with diagnosis and repair of engines, machinery, bearings, belts and associated components
  • Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Assisting with assembly of new equipment and disassembly of machinery
  • Supporting basic fabrication tasks, including welding (desirable, not essential)
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and service records

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a mechanical or trade assistant role (or similar hands-on environment)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to select appropriate tools for tasks
  • Good time management and task prioritisation skills
  • A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
